Hailing from Upstate New York, Clippy has been deeply immersed in music from an early age. Officially embarking on his solo musical journey in 2019, Clippy has carved out a niche in the indie pop/rock scene, drawing inspiration from artists such as Good Morning, Alvvays, Alex G, and Dayglow.

In 2021, Clippy released his debut album, Staring at the Sun, marking the beginning of his musical career. The album showcased a unique sound, setting the stage for future growth. By 2023, Clippy unveiled the conceptual follow-up album, When I'm Gone, a project rich with dissonance and psychedelic elements. This album, along with much of his music, delves into themes of self-identity and personal relationships, earning recognition from notable playlists and a feature on ‘Obscure Sound’.

In the past year, Clippy has found his stride, releasing some of his most impactful work to date. Tracks like "Good Grief" and "Slow Down" highlight Clippy's versatility, each offering a distinct style and showcasing their evolution as an artist and producer. With each new release, Clippy continues to learn and refine his craft, eagerly anticipating the future. Exciting times lie ahead for Clippy as he hones in on his hazy indie sound.
